Men In Black 3, Just Empty Black Suits?

Hey, everyone, out there in the world! Nice of you to stop by. Today I downloaded Men In Black 3 for I-Pad. There were a number of positive reviews on the app store, but there were several reviews that complained about the game failing to open. This was my experience. It opened to the screen shown above and froze there. At least it was free. I have an I-Pad 3, so maybe you will have better luck with yours.
EA games is having a big sale for the holiday weekend. I already have most of the titles which are on sale, however. I did buy several games this weekend, though, and I'd like to tell you about them.
Get Out of My Galaxy is a Mario type of space game in which you control a monster with 4 arms. The dude eats rocks and has a penchant for slapping little cone-headed aliens. There are a certain number of aliens to slap on every planet, then you move on to the next world. There are power-ups to grab as you go along, for health and other things. There is prickly vegetation which detracts from your health and the cute little aliens, if you allow them to approach you, will suck the life out of you. I have a Mario space game on the Wii and this is not quite on that level, but let's face it, the Wii game was $50 and this game is 99 cents for  about 100 levels. Do the math.
Get Out of My Galaxy has excellent graphics and would be a great game for kids. I like it for my own play as well. At least I don't get stuck. Hey, I slap a few cone-heads and move on to the next planet. I don't even have to wear a black suit. If I did, where would I find a tailor to make me one with 4 arms?
I have been playing another 99 center called Boomlings. In this match 4 game ...you match 4 (duh) monster faces of varying colors and expressions. There are bombs of like colors to the faces but the faces themselves are as follows. There are happy blue faces, frowny orange faces and cross-eyed red faces. You clear screens and grab some power ups. What I don't like about it is this: When you lose a level it puts you back to the start. I hate that but the game is pretty good and certainly worth a solitary dollar.
Once upon a time, I did a review of a game called Brickshooter Egypt. It is one of those games that you just play and play. I played an early version of it but never bought the premium game. Yesterday I caught it on sale for free and jumped on it. You'll really like this game. I love how it sounds like granite slabs sliding and grinding as you slide stones toward the center of the screen, fitting a Pharaoh's tomb together. (Sounds like an Indiana Jones movie) If you can't catch it for free, you should still get it.
Well, I am playing hooky from typing  a manuscript so I will bid you goodnight, from the green retreat.
   I'm CE Wills.

  1. When shopping for Men's suits, the color is a very important factor to consider. You need to choose which one will help you look good.

  3. Hey, Alex. I appreciate your comment. I was over on Amazon.com the other day and saw a nice suit for a reasonable price. I believe it was tropical weight, by Darya. I know that living in a remote area makes shopping by internet more convenient. Good luck!

It's So Easy

Hey, everyone, out there in etherland. I've been playing some new songs this morning on my keyboard. You may remember a Buddy Holly tune called It's So Easy . I hadn't matched the title to the song before today so I was delighted when I saw that it was the one that goes like this: "It's so easy to fall in love, it's so easy to fall in love." It rocks pretty good. A later version of it, after amps and guitars had improved, really rocked. It seems like Joan Jett may have done a version. Anyway, I was playing this song and I thought about a fun thing I like to do. Sometimes I'll start to play a song and tell Carley, or the grandkids, whoever may be there, a silly story about it.      For instance, I would say that once upon a time Buddy Holly came to me and said, "CE, I need a hit, my man. The kids need shoes. I want to go on American bandstand, you know what I'm saying?"     "Yeah, Buddy, I hear you. But the thing is, I think ...

The Biscuit

Hey, everyone. What a relief that Christmas is over, huh? I don't think it was meant to be the way it is.     I started thinking about the so-called good 'ole days today. My wife says that at her house, they would take a left-over biscuit and shine their shoes before church. I one-upped her by saying, "Oh, yeah? I ate the biscuit when everyone got finished with it. And I was grateful for it." Truly, though, you can and people did, shine their shoes with a biscuit. Hey, they were greasy little buggers.     Speaking of greasy little buggers, I remember when everyone had wells and were very conservative about water, particularly those of us who had to crank a handle up and down to get a bucket of water. There was no daily bath. (No showers in those days, mate.) About twice a week we took a bath and here's the recipe: The oldest kid took a bath first, then the next oldest etc. You can see why younger siblings hated the older. Bathing in the...

Movie Review: Limitless

Hey, everyone. I ventured off the mountain today, down into the haunts of men. I'll tell you about a movie I saw, then later I'll tell you about some other stuff. The movie is Unlimited . This is a story that you would have to call science fiction, but in the not so distant future you may call it reality.      Bradley Cooper plays Edward Morra. If you looked up loser in the dictionary you would see this guy's picture. He has freeloaded off his girlfriend for years. He claims to be a writer but can't seem to put words on paper. His woman leaves him; he is a scroungy, dirty dude with no future, no drive and no money. He is about to be evicted from his scummy apartment.     Then he bumps into an old friend. The friend wants him to try a new drug which comes in the form of a small, clear pill. What Edward doesn't know is that the pill is pretty awesome. The drug is designed to unlock the true potential of the human brain. We only use a...
